Basic servicing

Involves dismantling, minor repairs and adjustments, deep cleaning, re-assembly, lubrication and regulation.

Costs for basic servicing (Inc VAT):

Double train (Strikes on the hour and half): £200.00

Triple train (Strikes on the hour and chimes on the quarters): £300.00

More complicated repairs

Some clocks require repairs beyond the scope of basic servicing. Most damaged clock parts can be repaired. Some worn clock parts can be replaced with new (mainsprings, jewels, weight lines etc), Clock parts that cannot be replaced or repaired can be re-made from scratch in the workshop.

Initial assessment

On arrival each clock is examined carefully and if repairs beyond the scope of basic servicing are required then the additional costs involved will be set out for agreement prior to any work commencing.
